We are a group of people committed to the service of our
community. Please
contact us if you would like to
 help
us meet the needs of our community or know of any needs we
may help meet.
- Missions / Outreach / Fellowship Committee:
This
committee works to get us Presbyterians to
think beyond the doors of our church. It is
responsible for our ministry beyond our own
congregation. It provides information about
mission programs within our community and
the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It selects
and promotes mission projects and makes
recommendations to session concerning our
budgeted benevolence giving. It develops
strategies for presenting the claims of the
Gospel to those not active in a particular
church and equips church members to engage
in the joy and task of evangelism. It
reviews church membership and encourages the
congregation’s numerical growth. In order to
do this the committee also plans and
coordinates fellowship events and church
dinners. It plans for and coordinates the
coffee hour prior to Sunday worship and
occasionally works with other committees to
help provide meals for their programs.

- Worship / Spiritual Life /
Congregational Care Committee This
committee combines the care of the
congregation in its worship, spiritual life
and caring ministry. It works closely with
the minister in planning Sunday worship and
other seasonal worship opportunities
including Advent and Lent. It arranges for
liturgists, greeters, ushers, and communion
servers. It looks for ways for the
congregation to enrich its relationship with
God and each other through events, seasons
of prayer, and groups such as Prayer Shawl
Ministry. This committee also oversees the
visitation program of the session for
hospital and homebound visits and communion
along with arranging for meals for
congregational members when there is a death
or serious illness.
